About Katrina Pinkney
I have worked in higher education, adult education, and workforce development since 2008, supporting adults navigating complex life, work, and learning challenges. My experience spans career coaching, literacy instruction, student support, and program coordination, helping learners overcome barriers, clarify priorities, and make meaningful progress toward personal and professional goals.

I specialize in practical, action-oriented coaching for adults who want structure, accountability, and encouragement — whether that’s clarifying goals, improving time management, building daily routines, or taking concrete steps toward life or career objectives.

Coaching can be a great option if traditional therapy isn’t meeting your current needs, or if you’re looking for focused support on goal-setting, executive functioning, or skill-building without a therapy focus.

Why Coaching With Me
With years of experience supporting adults in academic, career, and nonprofit settings, I understand the challenges of balancing responsibilities, navigating stress, and staying on track with goals. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to your priorities, giving you the tools, structure, and accountability to make real progress.

There often comes a point where surviving is no longer enough — where you recognize that some of the excuses, patterns, or delays that once made sense are now keeping you stuck. Coaching is about honest self-checks, intentional action, and choosing to move toward growth and stability rather than staying in survival mode. If you’re ready to stop circling the same challenges and start building a life that feels more aligned and sustainable, coaching offers the space to do that work.
Who Coaching Is Not For
Coaching is not the right fit if you are:
-
Seeking therapy, diagnosis, or treatment for mental health conditions
-
In need of crisis support or emergency mental health services
-
Looking to process trauma or engage in deep emotional healing work
-
Not ready to take responsibility for your choices or follow through on agreed-upon goals
-
Wanting insight without action, or validation without accountability

Coaching is best suited for individuals who are stable enough to function, ready to reflect honestly, and willing to take intentional steps toward change.
